The Biota pharmaceutical company is close to a cure for the common cold. Their new antiviral compound, Vapendavir, shortens the length of colds by 33%. Researcher Dr. Robert Stirling says, “If this reduces the intensity and duration of a respiratory cold, especially in asthmatics, it is an important finding.
